Hum & Om

Nobody knows what this Loh E Qur'an, Ha Meem represents but according to a lot of Prayers and Hadith's that were passed on to us. It could only & only mean the Prophet [SAW]. And that was the brain behind "Hum" in Urdu. So we can relate back to the Prophet [SAW] whenever we tend to proclaim it.

Although, people use it to relate themselves with "Om" and it isn't correct.
